Over $650 million in bond referendums were approved by voters in Ankeny, Dallas Center-Grimes, Des Moines, Southeast Polk, and West Des Moines school districts, leading to upgrades in infrastructure.

The Des Moines Education Association's president, Anne Cross, highlighted the community's support for public education through the bonds.

While there are mixed opinions on state funding for schools, district leaders expressed gratitude for the community's backing.

Ankeny, Dallas Center-Grimes, and West Des Moines superintendents emphasized the positive impact of the referendums on students and the commitment to transparency in implementing improvements.
